SPRINT 1


It's been a while , so let me fill you in on what we've been up to!


Cart :

A cart has been added to our game. Just like the prototype you can attach and detach the cart from yourself. This time, however, the collision is fixed.

You can again add items to the cart again. They can also be taken out of the cart.


The cart can be toppled as well . When this happens items will fly out and the cart needs to be picked up from the ground.


Oh did I mention already that items have their own physics now when not held by a player? Just look at them fly out of the cart.


Hitting players:

Yes you read that right. Our grandma's are going to fight! When you hit a player, they will drop the item they are holding and spin around for a second. This makes them unable to move.



HUD:

The player's shopping lists are now displayed in the corners of the screen. The color of the font matches the grandma's color.

When a player is holding a cart, the list of items it is holding will also be displayed near it. I made the box slightly transparent, so it wouldn't block anyone's vision.


Items:

The wine has been modeled and is looking very nice. The dark color helps it stand out more on our pale blue floor. We didn't really know how to properly package it and we didn't just want to make a generic bottle, but then we found references of the bottle being wrapped in some cloth. It looked adorable and perfect for our dear old grandma.



RFX:

We've got some pretty bubbles for a status effect that can be inflicted on our players. The status effect is yet to be implemented.
